NUE: The Brand and Its Typefaces

Project Brief
NUE is a medium-weight, sans-serif typeface. NUE is considered to be the ‘parent’ typeface, and it has two variants. These variants were modified in two distinct ways to demonstrate how typeface choice affects a viewer’s perception of a specific brand. This perception then effects the purchase intention of a consumer, making typographic choice essential to a brand’s success in terms of identity cohesiveness and overall brand awareness.

To further demonstrate the power of typeface choice, NUE: The Champagne Brand shows how typeface can drastically alter a brands identity and messages in their marketing.
